Mason Groben (right side in photo)

A Newton, IA native and 2003 graduate of UC Davis, Mason holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology.  He has worked at wineries in locations including New York, California, Australia, and New Zealand. Mason, along with his parents, started Jasper Winery in 2004, and he continues all wine making and management duties at the winery. In 2009, Mason started Madhouse Brewing Company.  He oversees all brewery operations including recipe formulation, sourcing of ingredients, brewing, marketing, promotion, and distribution.   His time is best enjoyed creating the sour barrel-aged program at the brewery.  Contact- masongroben@gmail.com



Brody Coffman (left side in photo)

Brody is a West Des Moines, IA native who attended Iowa State University following graduation from Valley High School.  He worked for downtown establishments such as The Lift and Vaudeville Mews before starting at Madhouse/Jasper in 2012.  At Madhouse, he learned the skills needed to brew and package great beer and was promoted to Head Brewer.  His current work activities include brewing, filtration, packaging, etc, as well as promotion and the development of Madhouse’s barrel-aged and sour beer program.  Contact- brody@madhousebeer.com
